Indeed a nice book wherein writer ,who is himself a CEO has stressed heavily on cutomer relationship management(the same job I am looking forward to do ……..).Well,not being cheeky,but,yes,I totally corroborae with Michael’s opinions on the imporatnce of understanding cutomers.His ability to go against the tide,when everbody admonished him, is something which I greatly admire.His Direct Selling Model,still an iconoclastic idea,is undoubtedly,the reason behind Dell’s enormous success.While,others were predicting future trends,Dell was driving the wave just because of Michael’s sheer determination & courage & of couse, attitude(I would rather call it Dell’s panache).Michael is,from now onwards,christened one of my favourite CEOs.
