A second collection of stories entitled More Twisted was published in 2006  by Simon & Schuster. This collection contains fifteen previously publised stories together with another new Lincoln Rhyme mystery.

Twisted by Jeffery Deaver

Twisted  is a 2003 collection of short stories by crime writer Jeffery Deaver.  The book was published in 2003 and features 16 short stories, including one featuring Deaver’s fictional detective Lincoln Rhyme.

The best part about the book is that each & every single story is in itself a masterpiece. If I will ever make a film, one thing for sure is that I am gonna  pick one of the stories of Twisted only. Storier are full of delirium till the very end. Reader is not even allowed to make the wildest possible guess about the ending of a story. The stories always turn out to be 180 degrees opposite of what the reader has predicted. Truly, mesmerizing & yet, thrilling.

Author has shown great reluctance in sharing the real character of his actors. What actually happens is that  the victim turns out to be the assailant & vice-versa. The real character is kept under several wraps till, the end.

It is definitely a must read for all those who are actually looking forward to some thrill. It will undoubtedly, make some hot adrenaline juices flow across your body.
